Yvonne Chern

Bio

Traditional Thai massage, also called lazy man's yoga, evolved from the ancient healing traditions of Ayurveda, yoga and Thai Buddhism.  Employing the hands, feet, arms and legs, the recipient is guided through a series of yoga poses that includes stretching and gentle pressure. Thai bodywork can be used for stress and pain relief while also increasing flexibility and deep relaxation.

As a recipient of massages from a very early age, I have personally experienced many forms of massage that are available.  Although they are all beneficial for relaxation and pain relief, I have found the Thai massage and acupressure to be the best.  To share this therapy with others, I began training in Coaching the Body Institute, Evanston, IL and have received a Certificate of Thai Bodywork Practitioner.  I continually attend classes and workshops to further improve my skills & knowledge in trigger point therapy and Thai massage.

I am enthusiastic and honored to bring it to the community.
